Happy Spring!

Join me at The Enlightenment Expo, Saturday & Sunday, May 3rd & 4th, At The Fireside Inn & Suites 81 Riverside St. Portland ME  10:00am-5:00pm.   I will be there on Sunday with handcrafted gifts from The Magick Garden.  This year I will also have information about available outdoor space at The Magick Garden.  If you are a practitioner, teacher, artist, musician,  holding client sessions, classes or gatherings surrounded by the beauty of nature would be truly transporting.  Imagine a Reiki or massage session held in a screen tent among the trees and flowers, birdsong floating on gentle summer breezes.  Or a meditation class held on the grass under the morning sun.  The possibilities are endless.  If this interests you, I hope you will stop by and visit my table at the Expo.   Visit the Facebook page.

Saturday, June 7th will be the first Garden Party and Plant Swap At The Magick Garden, The Gingerbread House 141 Pleasant St. Richmond ME.  Time to be announced.  Rain date will be Sunday, June 8th.  Bring a plant (houseplant, annual or perennial), visit The Magick Garden, stroll the grounds, enjoy some tasty treats, chat with other garden lovers and take home a new plant.   This should be a fun day for all.  I will post times closer to the date, but I’m thinking something like 10:00am-2:00pm. I will create a Facebook event, so watch for this.  Visit The Magick Garden Facebook Page.

January and upcoming events

posted by Jennifer Mullin

New Year greetings to everyone.   I hope you all had lovely holidays!  We were lucky enough to have our daughter home from Seattle for the holidays.  While she was home she and I visited Jacqueline’s Tea Room in Freeport for afternoon tea.  What a sweet place (pun intended)!  All the tea you can drink and tasty sweet and savory treats.  And so prettily decorated.

On Sunday, February 2nd I will be at the Long Branch Holistic Wellness Fair, 20 Main St., Bowdoinham from 1:00p-4:00p.  This fair will be a nice way to get area practitioners together and to allow folks from surrounding communities to see what is available in this area.  I will be at the fair offering Aura Clearing and Healing Attunements.  I will have information about all my services and about The Magick Garden.  This fair gives people the opportunity to try out a variety of healing modalities free of charge.  It’s a great way to learn about something new that might benefit you.  And, anyone who tries an Aura Clearing or Healing Attunement will be given a coupon for $10.00 off a one hour session with me!  I hope I’ll see you at the fair!

December in The Magick Garden

posted by Jennifer Mullin

Yuletide Greetings from The Magick Garden!  Work outside is done for the year (unless I have to shovel snow!) and my focus has shifted to the inside of the gingerbread house.  Wreaths will go up on the front doors this evening.  Candles are in the windows and fairy lights are hung in the entry.  Holiday tablecloths are out of hiding and the advent calendar is displayed.  I must admit that I’m a little worried about the combination of Christmas tree and kittens this year…I’ve opted not to hang the special, fragile ornaments that have been in my family since I was a child.  Instead, I’ve displayed them in a large bowl on the dining table.  I’ll have to report back to you about the tree and kittens after the holiday!  (fingers crossed they won’t try climbing the darned thing!!  I have been working on preparing the “Princess Room” at the gingerbread house for my daughter’s arrival from Seattle later this month.  I’m pleased with how sweet and cozy it is.  Here are a couple of photos:

I have also been busy publishing some of my short stories and various thoughts on Wikinut.  I enjoy writing and hope to do more of it.  I hope you will enjoy reading them.  To read, just click on each link below…

Lily Dale

My sister, her husband and I spent five days in Lily Dale, NY during the first week of August.  They had been once before.  I had never been.  For those of you who don’t know, Lily Dale , “…the world’s largest assembly for the Science Philosophy and Religion of Spiritualism,” is a spiritualist community tucked away in northwest New York state.  Lily Dale is charming.  Our first night we attended a three hour class by John White on Remote Viewing.  All I can say is “WOW.”  What an interesting and amazing class.  We were able to practice this technique and witness the incredible accuracy first-hand.  John White is an excellent teacher and speaker.  If you get a chance to see him or have a session with him, jump on the opportunity!

I also had a reading with medium, Bonnie White.  Bonnie is a lovely woman who creates a charcoal spirit art drawing while connecting to spirit on your behalf.  This is truly a unique experience.  The images that come through are astonishing.  People who are definitely recognizable to me are present in my drawing.  Animals, angelic presences, spirit guides and more.  The other amazing thing is that each time I look at the drawing I seem to see something new.

My last reading was with medium, Lynn Wiltsie.  Lynn seems genuine and caring and is very up front.  Her reading was pretty much spot on.  My mom and dad came through, each with a concern or comment or two, and the session was an enlightening and rewarding experience.

Lily Dale is small.  There are a couple of shops and places to eat (you’ve GOT to stop in at Cup A Joe Cafe & Bakery-their lavender shortbread cookies are to die for!-pun intended!).  But the main reason to visit Lily Dale is to experience the peace and beauty of the area and to take part in the healing and connection with spirit and like-minded individuals.

July and August in the Garden

posted by Jennifer Mullin

 Hello Friends!

What an incredibly hot summer it has been.  I’m loathe to complain too  much though given how long the winter seemed.  The summer is busy and I will be away for a bit, but there are a couple of things I’d like to let you know about…

The Goddess Within~Embrace Your Divine Feminine 2013 Retreat-Unfortunately Marie and I have made the decision to cancel this event.  We had a lot of enthusiasm from our vendors and workshop leaders and from the few women who signed up to attend.  However, we did not have enough registrants to justify going forward with the retreat.  It was our first attempt at such an undertaking and we are not discouraged.  We have already begun discussion on how we can make adjustments to this event for next year, so keep an eye on our websites and facebook pages.  I will post updates here and on my facebook page: www.facebook.com/themagickgarden.  We will also post updates on our website: www.embracreyourdivinefeminine.com and our facebook page: www.facebook.com/thegoddesswithinembraceyourdivinefeminine .  In addition, Marie and I will be hosting smaller workshops and events throughout the year and hope you will attend some of them.  Check back here, watch our facebook pages or sign up for our newsletters.  (you may sign up to receive my newsletter here on my website).

Open House and First Dibs Day-I will be holding another Open House on Saturday, August 24th from 11:00am-4:00pm.  Stop by to visit the Gingerbread House, roam The Magick Garden and take advantage of the opportunity for First Dibs on handcrafted Garden Leaves!  I have been crafting concrete leaves again this summer and will be offering them for sale at the Open House.  So come by and see what I have before I start selling them at craft fairs!  **Garden Leaves can also be found on Maine St. Brunswick at The Mix.
